Wow, This takes me way back...
So I'm diving into some of the newly launched features on Autisable and realize that much of what it now looks like is very similar to what Xanga was... (well, pre- username.xanga.com, if my memory remotely serves me... )
Allow me to provide some pics of what I'm talking about... see if it's similar to you...
This is where people would create a blog post and submit it to the main page for Autisable.
The reality is, if we didn't review content and just made it go LIVE immediately, this would show up on the persons account AND the main page automatically. This shows all comments and status updates, with short/quick updates - photo/video sharing (kinda like how FB does it).
But, it's also similar to how Xanga was.... right?Showing a history of my comments on the site.
Showing all blog posts under the account.
Suffice it to say... a lot of similarities. Well, at least I think so.
I'd love your input as well.
(if you have an interest in sharing and/or discussing autism in any way... the invitation is open to join Autisable.)
until later... back to the grind.
Xanga update? Nothing new at the moment.

*sigh* Xanga was so user friendly to blog on. Not at all like WordPress. The screen shots do look familiar...
Yeah, I'm hoping to bring back some of the user friendliness on Autisable. As more features are being launched I see it coming together.
I have passed the information along on how I'm setting up Autisable, to the Xanga team. Don't know what they plan to do at this moment.
If someone would be trying to find me on Xanga, what should they do? dingdongbat was trying and couldn't seem to locate me.
good question mcbery! Right now I wish I had a better answer for you. But the best thing you can do for the moment is promote your blog through the usual social media outlets, and comment on people's blogs (as you are already doing). Also, if they know your username, they should be able to put USERNAME.xanga.com and find you. Wish I could be of more help on this issue.
@edlives: Thanks! I'll be faithful
Ed, I thought of you this evening as I found out that a local independent theater is showing a movie entitled:
"Life Animated, How a family reached their autistic son through Disney movies". I hope to get to watch it.
Oh, I heard about that! Wish I had the time to hunt for a place and watch it myself. Let me know how it is if you were able to see it.
