Ever experience those moments in life where you have to pause and reflect and realize that what you experienced was actually a turning point?
I've had several of those moments these past couple of years in just the aspect of being a part of the Autism community.
Who knew that I'd be so involved, and so intrigued by the people and the families? It's been a good journey, and I look forward to even more of it. I'm glad I can help where I can...
Can you name a few moments that can be called Turning points - those life changing moments?
Please, share one or two.... If you make a post about it - just make a comment with the link and I'll update this post with the link.

when I heard my youngest son was Type One diabetic, Nephew has Aspergers , and My oldest son had Clinical depression. Weigh? OH yeah I feel that turn in my life where all my energy was now on them not me. But you know they make life worth living!
My life changing moment was when I finally accepted that my marriage is not worth the pain and depression it is causing. Now that I have "moved on" life is so much sweeter and simpler. I have re-discovered my love of nature and have started writing again. I have found my happy!
When I realized It wasn't cool anymore. (Do those footprints look computer generated to anyone else?)
Hello Friend. I'm finally getting around to your blog. So much has been going on. New beginnings, evolving minds... You understand. I am so grateful for your attention to my postings and your mentions. I am equally impressed to learn of your involvement with the autism community. I employed a young autistic man as a tech intern for a large non-profit, community tech center in San Diego. It was then that I had my first experience with this disability/ability. I must admit, I had a big learning curb to manage, but I was determined. Worth his weight in gold, that one. There was simply no technology problem I gave him that he could not fix or provide recommendation.
Most recently, I have experienced a turning point of monumental proportions. I've been tweeting for nearly four weeks now. I think I've found a niche for my purpose. Between my blog and Twitter, I am inspired to write, something I've always wanted to do. The concepts I write about have been developing in me for more years than I care to admit. The big push was actually inspired by Ms Lady Gaga, since I began by creating a YouTube account so I could have a playlist of her work. Soon I felt compelled to educate (my profession) others about this amazing woman. Her art inspired me to finally embrace the 'monster' I am, and get on with it already!
It's a genuine pleasure to tweet with you. I'll check back here again. Peace, my virtual friend.
@Tempibones - Thanks for stopping by, and I look forward to touching base again.
