Cell Phone = Busted

I dropped my phone. But in this case the drop busted the screen on the phone.
For those that don't know, the 'touch screen' on smart phones are not resistant to shattering when falling from 6 feet of height onto concrete.
Just sayin'.
Well, filed a claim and should have the replacement in hand soon. Good thing we got the insurance plan....
Have you ever busted your cell phone? What did you do?

I have never busted the screen. But then again, I have never tested your theory and dropped one from six feet on to concrete. I would probably use someone else's phone if I decided to test your theory. Do you have another phone I can test?
@TheTheologiansCafe - I have a couple of old phones somewhere. :)
I've dropped my phone plenty of times but never cracked the screen. My sister has an iPhone and messed it up really bad. When we got out of the car she accidentally threw her phone on the concrete lol. But she has Apple Care so it cost her $50 to get replaced.
@lovelybish - $50 isn't bad. our plan is $90 for the deductible.
I have an iPhone. But I've never cracked the screen yet. I am clumsy and drop it all the time. But I'm not 6 foot tall either. I have, however, broken other phones. I always had insurance for replacements on them. But the iPhone wanted their "own" policy and it cost $99 and I didn't have that at the moment so I'm uninsured with the iPhone. Which really sucks because I scratched the screen the other day. I'm a little pissy about it.
Sorry to say, that is beautiful.
I have never dropped mine but I've been standing next two two friends as they picked theirs up to discovered shattered screens. It's kind of a sick feeling when you first see it. I've had mine long enough that it's no longer covered by insurance so I'm trying to baby it for a couple more months until I can afford to get a new one.
